I grew up in my grandfathers’ layer and broiler farm in western Turkey. I graduated from University of Istanbul and Turkish Army Veterinary Colleges as DVM and served as veterinarian lieutenant in different parts of Turkey. After returning to civil life, I received training on poultry breeder health, management and artificial insemination from a leading Israeli breeding companies Efrat and Ramit. Following these trainings I joined to Banvit, the biggest poultry integrator in Turkey as a field veterinarian . Later on I moved to Australia to join a leading poultry integrator RLC and worked in various senior management roles. In RLC i have developed personal interests in improvement of poultry welfare with management and nutrition and particularly in free range-antibiotic free production. I established many  field and research trials, and played a major role in the establishment of the company’s first antibiotic free -free range poultry production. With 12 years of production and management experience I joined Alltech as Poultry Species Leader for Asia Pacific region which i covered 16 countries.  I helped many companies’ for setting up antibiotic free poultry production as well as reducing therapeutic antibiotic usage. 

Last 3 years I managed Cobb and Shaver pure line breeder operations including GGP/GP and PS farms and 3 hatcheries as well as Avian Transitional Facility for BPHL in New Zealand. I design and successfully managed a big expansion project for BPHL including brand new hatchery and PS rearing and production farms. I am currently writing my PhD thesis on gut health in antibiotic free production system within University of Sydney, Poultry Research Foundation. I am a recipient of prestigious Australian Poultry CRC Research Scholarship Award. I have been invited to many international symposiums as a keynote speaker around the world.
